Jack Ferdman is a Toronto-based, freelance film and entertainment critic. Jack has studied film theory at York University, completed the Second City Improvisational Program in Toronto, and continues to do amateur musical theatre throughout the city. He has written for several publications including Friday Night Magazine, the Liberal, the Mirror, and Parvati Magazine. He was also featured in the Brazilian Film Festival Program for his analysis of the cinematic styles of Billy Wilder. He is not only an avid cinephile, but a  film historian. If you are looking for him, then he's likely either at a  multiplex checking out the latest of what Hollywood and the world has to offer or at a local cafe writing about movies while likely listening to Bruce Springsteen or Bob Seger. Oh, and he also runs two businesses and is a father of three. Yup, he's one busy guy.
